Overseas exercises are not the norm but they do happen in the Royal Yeomanry. In the last few years, HQ (Westminster Dragoons) Squadron, The Royal Yeomanry have been on exercise in Kuwait, Gibraltar, Morocco, Germany, Canada. and the Czech Republic These exercises practise the essentials of co-operating with foreign forces and also allow for more intense training in difficult environments.
