Fitness

During the recruit training process you will be taught and assessed by the Squadron's and the Regiment's Physical Training Instructors. Although the short-term aim of this is to enable recruits to meet the standard of fitness set out in the Common Military Syllabus (Recruits), it also seeks to equip new soldiers with the knowledge of how to keep themselves physically fit.

For TA soldiers, maintaining fitness is a personal obligation. Each year you will be required to undertake a Basic Personal Fitness Assessment and a Combat Fitness Test.
