Career CoursesOnce you come off the CMS(R) course, you are a trained soldier. But you are not a Yeoman, although you are paid as one. In order to make that grade - and so to be eligible to be promoted to LCpl - you must get the following trades:

Junior officers normally undertake the following courses within their first two years of being commissioned (unless they have done so beforehand)
Some of these courses are run in-house by the Westminster Dragoons. Others are taught by the London District Regional Training Centre (click here) and other parts of the TA, while the remainder we do alongside the regular Army and the RAF regiment.
